Specialist delivery firm Panther Warehousing is coming to the aid of hundreds of distressed home owners across the UK after joining forces with a leading electrical appliance firm.

Thanks to its next day delivery service, the award-winning business is helping Hampshire-based IdealKit.co.uk its customers with a range of white goods and kitchen appliances at a moment’s notice.

The Northampton-based dedicated white-glove delivery specialist is handling around 1,000 consignments each month for the company’s online arm of the business – IdealKit.co.uk

And according to bosses at the appliance firm, around 60 per cent of its orders are ‘distress buys’ from customers who are in desperate need of a product at short notice – a service which Panther has excelled at.

Nigel Bussingham, Managing Director of IdealKit, said: “When a kitchen appliance such as a washing machine or cooker breaks down, our customers need a replacement immediately and Panther’s next day delivery service is fundamental to ensuring that we provide our customers with the speediest and most efficient service possible.

“We are currently expanding our operations and Panther has kept in step with us throughout this period of growth, providing a first-rate service which has been a major advantage to the business.”

Ideal Kit – which was established ten years ago – supplies a full range of products from the leading manufacturers including Smeg, Beko and Siemens. Its extensive offering ranges from tumble dryers and dishwashers to fridge freezers, ovens and range cookers

With customers based around the country, IdealKit makes full use of Panther’s two and where necessary a three-man delivery service for high end bulky products as well as its office support, IT and communications expertise.

And IdealKit is also taking advantage of Panther’s new Sunday delivery service – which the company believes will prove incredibly popular with existing and future customers.

“To be able to tell our customers that we can deliver our products next day is a huge plus for the business,” added Nigel Bussingham. “In this day and age, we need to ensure that we stay ahead of the game and continue to meet the increasing demands of the marketplace.

“There has been a real shift in the industry, with more and more people choosing to buy their white goods and kitchen products online. We need to be able to provide them with not only next day delivery, but also the option to select a day that is convenient for themselves – which Panther can also provide.

“We are delighted with our partnership with Panther, we see them as a valuable asset to the business and crucial to its continued growth and success.”
