Sky Appoints Panther Logistics as Sole Delivery Partner

SKY APPOINTS PANTHER LOGISTICS AS SOLE DELIVERY PARTNER

British broadcasting giant Sky has appointed the UK’s leading two-person delivery and white glove specialists Panther Logistics as their sole delivery partner for their new Sky Glass product.

Panther will be assisting in the delivery of Sky Glass, Sky’s new streaming TV, offering premium sound and picture quality as well as strong eco credentials.

The leading two-person delivery provider will be providing its wide range of services to Sky customers which include: delivery to room of choice with assembly of the stand and attachment to the TV, premium time slots, collections, exchanges, removal of all packaging upon the request of the customer.

Operating out of Panther’s depot network across the UK, a driver fleet will be assigned to the new contract. KPI’s, such as arriving within a two-hour time window, have been put in place to ensure that their delivery levels remain optimal at all times.

A strong communication channel will also feature highly in the customer offering to ensure the ultimate in final mile delivery experience. Not only will customers receive multiple messages prior to delivery, the delivery crew will also call the Sky customer between 30 and 60 minutes before arrival. Should Sky customers have any queries or wish to change their delivery, Panther has the facility for customers to communicate via Facebook, WhatsApp or phone to provide a seamless customer experience.

And to ensure they continue to improve their offering, Panther will be conducting customer satisfaction surveys following delivery for feedback on the Sky customer’s delivery experience.

With a UK customer base reaching in excess of 23 million, Sky is one of the nation’s biggest and most recognisable brands and has cemented its place as the UK’s largest pay-tv broadcaster since its formation.

The partnership not only acts as a significant milestone to Panther since the company launched their two-person delivery service over ten years ago, but also marks a new chapter in Sky’s history.

Gary McKelvey, Managing Director at Panther commented:

“In what has been a fantastic year for Panther, that has seen the company achieve unprecedented levels of growth and being acquired by AIT Worldwide, we have now achieved yet another landmark in partnering with one of the country’s most prestigious brands.
