New ownership heralds \u2018new era of investment and innovation\u2019 for specialist delivery firm<\/em><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

PANTHER LOGISTICS has today announced that the business has been acquired by US based AIT Worldwide Logistics, a global transportation management leader that prides itself on expanding companies\u2019 access to markets all over the world.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The acquisition follows a year in which Panther has seen an exponential increase in online shopping leading to an expanded team as well as several new partnerships with customers wishing to take advantage of the company\u2019s unique offering.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

It is one of the most exciting developments in Panther\u2019s continuing success story since it introduced its next day two-man delivery service nearly 10 years ago revolutionising the white glove premium home delivery marketplace.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

AIT Worldwide Logistics already has a significant presence in the US in the white glove home delivery and e-fulfilment sectors with the two businesses sharing a number of synergies.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The acquisition will see AIT supporting Panther\u2019s continued growth, further reinforcing its position as the UK\u2019s market leader in specialist two-man delivery, while extending AIT\u2019s presence in the UK market \u2013 generating exciting opportunities for staff and customers alike.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The two parties share the same values and core philosophies and are passionate about the future of logistics. Both believe in investing in staff opportunities, quality, innovation.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

For Panther it will be business as usual with the existing management team remaining in place \u2013 a factor which the company sees as key.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

At the helm Commercial Director Gary McKelvey will take the reins as Managing Director. He will be supported in his new role by Colin McCarthy to ensure a seamless transition.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The new ownership will allow Panther to continue to invest in its operations and develop new service innovations to support its customers, further securing its market leading position.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
