Panther Logistics’ new tailored delivery division is celebrating its first major project with US fitness equipment company Balanced Body® at www.pilates.com.
The UK’s leading two-person delivery specialist’s new Special Operations Service, which supports large-scale commercial distributions and offers bespoke client service requirements, delivered and installed 19 Allegro II Reformers at the recently opened Third Space, Wimbledon.
The installation comes at a time when Pilates is becoming increasingly popular. Indeed, a recent UK survey by Health and Fitness Education (HFE), a leading training provider to the UK health, fitness and active leisure sector, found that 70% of people would now choose Pilates over yoga.

Balanced Body has been delivering Pilates equipment, education and resources for more than 45 years and is also a customer of Panther’s US-based parent company AIT Worldwide Logistics. Recently Balanced Body® established a dedicated warehouse in the UK to help improved service to clients across the territory.
Katya Ryzhova, UK Business Development Manager for Balanced Body, trained Panther’s drivers using both training videos and personal instruction. Commenting about the installation at Third Space, Katya said:

Panther’s Special Operations was launched in response to increasing demand to provide bespoke support solutions for its delivery clients.
These new commercial opportunities allow Panther to diversify from its industry-leading two-man consumer delivery service into hospitality and wider commercial operations, offering support across the country to trade clients requiring higher volume deliveries that necessitate a more tailored individual solution, as well as increasingly complex assembly requirements.
