The team at Panther Logistics’ Seaham depot entered into the Christmas spirit early by donating cash and essential supplies to help people in need in their local community.
Food, drink, pet food and toiletries were among the items donated to the foodbank to help see families through the Christmas period.
Ashley Holmes, Depot Manager of Seaham, said although he and his colleagues had supported the foodbank for several years this year had been the most successful in terms of the number of items donated.
Ashley said:
“Our foodbank appeal has always been well supported but his year has been absolutely amazing.
“Not only have we supplied a range of toiletries, tinned foods and household items we have also not forgotten our four-legged friends with donations of food.
“It really has been a fantastic effort and we are incredibly proud of the care the Seaham team have shown their local community this Christmas.”
